What is Abbasids?
Its an arab dynasty of caliphs. Over threw omayyad dynasty(750 Ad) and moved capital from Damascus to Baghdad. Achieved great fame and splendour under Harun al-Rashid. This Dynasty was destroyed in 1258 AD by Mongols under Hulagu Khan.
