IQ measures general intelligence (Spearman`s “g”) but there are many tests which measure more specific mental abilities. In general women perform better than men in general verbal tests, while men do better in spatial tests. The IQ has been identified by the following method:
Iq = (Mental age x 100)/ Real age
Nowadays children of both sex have got more IQ`s than the last generation.
